I teach a smart, creatively sequenced and evenly paced vinyasa flow. My classes are breath-centered, meditative and infused with just a bit of yoga philosophy or poetry to inspire insight.
I completed my first teacher training through Om Yoga Center back in 2006, and have since become certified in Restorative Yoga with Judith Hanson Lasater (2009) and in Yin Yoga with Corina Benner (2012).
While I love to challenge my students with a sweaty flow, I also deeply value the spaciousness of a long held Savasana, the ability to uncoil layers of tension through Yin yoga, and the potential to unearth one's inner stillness through meditation. I have always been taken with anatomy and I am currently enrolled in a two year study of Anatomy & Kinesiology as it applies to yoga with Amy Matthews at The Breathing Project. I am grateful to so many for influencing me on my path, but especially Margi Young, Sarah Trelease, Elena Brower, Max Strom and Judith Lasater.
